NEW TO FORTE?
Hello and welcome to Forte! We are excited that you have decided to be a part of our Forte Family. We are now entering our 20th season and are continuously trying to improve our program. One way for us to improve is to guide our newest families to better understand the overall process that takes place throughout the year. This page will hopefully help with that.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Each season is 9 months in length and is divided into 4 quarters. Each quarter is 8 weeks in length. Most families stay with us for the entire season and for many years after that! Having said that, Forte families are only obligated (financially) for each quarter. For example, if a student is enrolled in class and stay for 1 quarter, families are only obligated financially for that quarter.

QUARTER 1
1. Registration Forms: It is important that all families fill out registration forms and return them prior to class. These forms are important as they supply important information such as phone numbers, emails, emergency contact info and medical information. Registration forms ensure that families understand how Forte operates as well as a any expectations that at certain points throughout the season. Once families have registered, it is not necessary to fill out paperwork again for proceeding seasons. We do request that families stop in the office to verify all information is accurate.
2. Registration Fee: Each new season we do charge an annual registration fee (currently that fee is $36 per student and $18 for each additional sibling). This fee will be charged along with quarter 1 tuition.

QUARTER 2
Costume Fees: Families entering quarter 2 will decide if their child/student is planning on participating in the year end spring show located at Mount Horeb High School. The spring performance takes place near the end of May (see important dates section for dates). If families decide to particiapte in the show, there will be a costume fee added to 2nd quarter tuition. Generally, costume fees range from $60-$75 per costume.
Forte Actors and Singers: All voice and acting students perform a separate show (in addtiona to the end of the year show). Forte actors present a show in January/February and April/Mid May. The Forte vocal department usually performs in January/February. Both Forte actors and singers begin preparing for their show(s) during this quarter.

QUARTER 3
Forte Dancers: At this point in the season, our dance students begin preparing for the end of the year spring show in May. Because of this, most classes stop accepting students for the remainder of the season. This is true for our singers and actors as well.
FEES: There are no additional fees due during this quarter.
QUARTER 4
END OF THE YEAR SHOW: At this point, all of our students are preparing for spring performances. Our actors are preparing for their final spring show that takes place at Forte Studios while our singers and dancers are prepping for the end of year show.
